The evening session saw a remarkable turn of events as Australia bowled out Pakistan for 139 to clinch a test in which they were written off in at the end of day 3. Australia found their quick wickets that they desperately needed as Yousuf and Misbah-ul-Haq were both dismissed in Hauritz's first over after tea. Umar Akmal was the only batsmen who showed any real focus and discipline as he made 49, but once he was out it looked as if Pakistan's chances were over. Haurtiz then took the last 2 wickets, to claim his 5 wicket hall, giving Australia victory by 36 runs and a 2-0 series win with one game to play.
